Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello All! I'm new to grasshopper and was hoping for a little help! I have currently used grasshopper to make the Shukhov Tower in Russia. It is a series of hyperboloid structures on top of each other that form a cone like structure. Although I've managed to do it I was wondering if there is a simpler way of doing it rather than creating separate hyperboloids and moving them on top of each other. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thank you in advance!

There is an image attached aswell to give you an idea of what the tower actually looks like.

Thanks again.

yup.

Thank you so much! Really appreciate it, far simpler than what I was doing. In this instance you are using the panel list to control the radius and elevations?

Yeah it's a good way to enter a variable list of numbers. You could also create 8 sliders, or use a Gene Pool object for this, but I like panels, especially if the values are known in advance.

Thanks! I'll keep it in mind for future reference :)
