Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

As I understand it this means that students cannot use the free version of Rhino 5 to access grasshopper after the evaluation period of 90 days expires.

I have never experienced this issue before.

So I just wanted to know if it is something new or it has always been like that?

It has always been like this. It would be trivial to write a plugin that saves the file behind Rhino's back, so when the eval expires, non-core plugins will no longer be allowed.

If people want to use our software for longer than 90 days, they can buy a license. Students and teachers only pay 195 euro, or maybe even cheaper through a reseller.

David, thank you for the response.

It was just the first time I experienced it.
