algorithmic modeling for Rhino
I am trying to repeat my module along a grid, so that the mid point I have set between the two points of the triangle sits on the intersections of the grid. It works once, then starts to only use half the diamond shape, and only a few rows of the grid. Eventually I want to make a script to set parameters for which grid it will fall on or just which intersections have modules, but I don't think I can get there until this works. Maybe I am going about the move wrong.
Thanks

Thank you so much, that is exactly what I was looking for!

I don't think so but what do you want to do with the picked item? Sometimes a simpler solution appears once you describe the bigger picture.

Well I originally wanted to be able to either move or hide them depending on certain, I guess you could say functions. I have started to manipulate the grid more now to create some variation instead of such a regular pattern but if there was a way to choose certain modules to create differences along the surfaces that would be ideal. Thanks again for your help.

If you want to vary the orientation of the components in the grid you can use a random generator to create a list of changes all at once but you won't have realtime individual control over each item separately. In other words you would be controlling the whole list at once to give each item a unique attribute. Perhaps this is what you meant above and I misunderstood your question.

Yea that is actually exactly what I wanted to do, Wanted to move them differently instead of having to move the whole resulting surface, just a hard time explaining. Thanks again for your help!
