algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hello, Im looking for help again here.
Im currently working on this, mostly from examples and tutorials, im pretty new to GH.
The program has two main parts, the one above, to control how the "panel" is going to
fit in the surface, and the bottom one, wich lets you "desing the panel".
( As seen in the jpg ).
I was wondering if, now that the file is working, and the lower part of the sistem can generate infinite diferent panels, if is there a way for the surface to be filled with many
diferent "Panels", and not to use always the same. Or at least generate four or five
diferent panels and use them randomly.
Thanks in advance!!

That helps a Lot, because it is what I was looking for!
But I am seem to be facing a little problem, in the file you .GH you uploaded, every "block" gets overlapped with all the different "types" in all the spots, Not one per Spot like the image you uploaded.
Anyway, ill be trying to fix this later, and you have been of a great help.
Thank you so much!
Hi Alvaro,
All I can think of is that a "flatten" operation has disapeared somewhere...
I had applied flatten on the output of the [Solid Difference] component. Check if you have it on your file too(see image).
If that is not the case, please check the output of [Jitter] with a [panel] or a [param viewer]. It should be a single list with a number of items equal to the number of panels you have on the surface...
good luck,
nikos
Nikos,
It the flatten operation was there. Ironically, when I disable it, it started working perfectly.
Thanks again, you saved me a lot of time! Much appreciate.
that's strange but hey, if it works... :)
