Quick Definition help. Creating tabs for fabrication from flattened facets.

I was working through the end of this tutorial when things stopped going my way. 

I marked on the definition where things stopped working for me. Where this tutorial begins at 3:00 min. I returned the definition to this point in order for this to be easiest for anyone to help with.

Just trying to get tabs on my flattened planes so I can print on paper and cut some forms quick.

I believe the problem lies somewhere between the "item" buttons (where the tutorial shows on 3:00) and the data they receive and filter. Its not registering through correctly and I am not really sure why.

Also, can the text be baked? Because I have not been able to get it into rhino.

I also noticed that there are two triangle planes (one "A" and one "B") that show up in multiples.. I think 8 of each or something.. not really sure why this also happens.
