Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I'm having this problem with Python; if I open a proyect already started, or if I open a new document and start adding components; and then I try to add the python component, I get the message shown in the image bellow; I can use Python only if I open a new Rhino document, and grasshopper, and before anything I add the python component, and even then, I can only use it once, if I try to copy the component to another document, or even to the same document, i get this message. Is anyone having the same problem? or does anyone knows how to fix it?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Leonardo,

The GhPython component is not installed/updated with Grasshopper at present. You download if from Food4Rhino or GitHub. Just upgrade to the lastest version of GH and GhPython.

The plan is, for sometime in the not-too-far future, to have GhPython integrated into Grasshopper, so you wont have to catch up on your own.

Thanks,

Giulio

Dear Giulio,

I am also having a problem with the Python component which I have installed to be able to run Ladybug.  I have installed the ghpython.gha 0.6.0.3.  The file does not seem to be blocked by windows.

When I drag the python component to the canvas I get some
unrecognized block shown below.  What could I do to try to get the block working properly?  Thank you for your help!!

You need to update Rhino.
