Pouplate 2D and voronoi within a black area of a black white image?

Like this? Or are you looking for a more gradual transition between rectangular and voronoi?

Here's a way to blend between the voronoi and the rectangular parts of the grid.

Yes, I am trying to get a more gradual transition as the picture below:

What I tried was to use the image as a "mask" as in photoshop but not sure if this can work...
