Polargraph Controller using GH + Firefly + adafruit libraries?

Hi

I usually just code simple arduino sketches in the Arduino IDE; however, I am now attempting to create a polargraph interface and wish to translate images into arduino code. In order to do this, I will have to convert polar coordinates to cartesian ones and then generate the code in arduino.

I am wondering if this makes sense to do in GH, or if I just just go back to the Arduino IDE. ?Please let me know any opinions.

Thank you,

Erik

Does anyone here have any experience using firefly with adafruit steppers? I checked the tutorial about the quadstepper, but am not sure which pin to use.

Hey erik,

I've been doing some similiar research with Grasshopper-driven polargraph operation. I haven't done exactly what you've mentioned in GH, but it seems like it would be a pretty logical way to approach. DM me if you'd like to get an email conversation going.

Thanks!

Alex
