Parametric floorplans/plan sections with balconies

Hi!

I need some help creating parametric floorplans/plan sections with balconies.

There are a couple of things given:

- one side/surface of the facade

- three curves where the plan section has to be

- the 'core' of the building

What I want the script/definition to do is this:

- Keep the given points on their place

- create ellipse form balconies

- The different points which create the balconies and plan sections are parametric

- create different plan sections at different heights and loft them

- Differ the placement and size of the balconies

I am trying to achieve something like the skyscrapers by Zaha Hadid (see attached picture).

I want to know how I can create such thing as a parametric plan section, can someone help me getting started with the principle.

I attached my files!

Thanks in advance!

Dividing those vertical curves is not the best way to ensure equal floor height - and level floors!  Those points are better determined by intersecting the curves with evenly spaced horizontal planes.

Even so, attached is some code that gets the "floor sections" as 'Boundary Surfaces', using your points.

Wow thanks!

That seems a lot easier indeed, than what I was trying to do!

Another question, how can I create the parametric balconies such as the tower by Zaha Hadid?

I now have the "given" points, how can I now set point so that  balconies can be made.

In other words, how can I make the contour of the floorplan parametric?

Thanks again!
