What version of Rhino do you have? You'll need a fairly recent Rhino5 service release for .NET RHI files.

SR9 is quite old, you should consider updating. The most recent service release is SR13, from April-4th 2016.

You should also consider purchasing a legal version, 'Rhino 5 Corporate' is what the cracked ones are called.

Only in as much that people with pirated copies rarely update to new service releases, and so often run into these kinds of problems. Though obviously running into these kinds of problems is not in and of itself an indication of piracy, which is why I personally never ask the question.

Hello David,

I asked it straight because I remember someone else also ran into this issue some time back and his rhino was pirated. I cannot seem to find that post to link it up. Maybe he removed it.

I use to get an error everytime I opened Rhino saying 'error loading panelling tools'. Latest verion of PT works with SR13 and I had SR11. The error went away once I updated to SR13.
