MULTI SPHERE SOLID UNION IN TO ONE / TWO SOILDS, (sphere diameter limit, if exceeded the solution for definition does fail)

Hi folks,

I would like to ask for some advice or help with my project I´m working on for some time.

I´m generating shape on the base of projected geodetical sphere on egg shape, the

vertices of triangles are used for matching spheres of different diameters and those

are union in to single object (two surfaces, external and interal=my final shape of veseel)

My issue is, if I try to increase the MAX diameter of spheres, it does start to fail to make union, if I exceed value for diameter more than 400, but I would need about 500 to 600.

PELASE, do you have any suggestion, what´s wrong?

Thank you in advice, I´m stuck right now, I have no idea.

Jakub,

Did you ever find a solution to your sphere union problems?

Hayes

Hallo Hayes,

What I remember, I had to play with the set of those spheres, and had to make an order to it by SORT function. For smaller diameters it worked fine and I was able to use solid union after without issues, but if some of those spheres had a bigger diameter than specific value, it stopped working for solid union (just some parts joined together).

I don´t remember the details, it is already a while ago.
