Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello,

I'm new to grasshopper so maybe this is an easy question...

I interpolated a curve through points in grasshopper, then i used the offset tool to offset this curve. Now i want to manipulate this curve in Z-direction with a specific point.

Therefore i used the point on curve component and I tried to manipulate the curve with the move component, but only the point is moving in Z-direction.

So, what I'm trying to say is that the form of the offset curve should stay the same on the top view, I just want to manipulate it in Z-direction with a few points on the curve.

Sry, but my english is not the best :)

regards,

Mario

maybe something like this?

I only want to manipulate the curve I have offsetted in z-direction, not the original one.

maybe those screenshots help

You can manipulate  Z coordinate of curve control points using graphmapper very easily.

cheers.

Hi Hyungsoo,

I always learn something new from examining your defs. Lately, you've been including  some animation. May I ask how you are doing this? Thanks.

Ethan

Thank you! That's exactly what I need!! :)
