algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi everybody,
I would like to create a list of list of surfaces on grasshopper. Indeed i have 9 surfaces (let's call them surface 9 to 8) done on rhino and i would like to order them in a list organized like this:
{0}
0 Surface 1
{1}
0 Surface 2
1 Surface 3
2 Surface 4
{2}
0 Surface 5
1 Surface 6
{3}
0 Surface 7
1 Surface 8
2 Surface 9
And not like this (which is what i have when select tehm with "multiple surfaces")
{0}
0 Surface 1
1 Surface 2
.....
7 Surface 8
8 Surface 9
Thanks a lot for your help: it is a very frequent issue and i would like to fix it.
Regards

One way would be to use a sublist approach. See Attached the trick is getting the domains numbered correctly.
Hi Danny,
Thank you for your quick answer but I don't manage ton open the file.
I can open only .ghx file. How do you open the.gh file ?
What version of Grasshopper are you using?
Thank you very much Danny !
I will use this script.
But how do you create the initial list of number (on the bottom left corner) ?
Regards
Its typed into a Panel with an unticked MultiLine box.
What version are you using? you might not have access to all of these components and if so then there are some other approaches
In which case all of the components should be there but their icons have probably changed. After a revamp in 0.8.0012
Just incase:
Mass Addition
Shift List
List Insert
Subtraction
Domain
Sub list
Welcome to
