algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi Alex that looks great :)
However I get a Grasshopper Event log error when I load your script:
"Missing object chunk in archive. An object could not be found in the document,it will be missing once the file is loaded"
I also don't get that nice preview picture :(
Hi Kim,
i have no clue what this error is. If you recreate the definition from the image does it work?
from the message it looks like the gradient component does not receive values.
edit*what gh version are you running?
Hi Alex
I will try a different image.
Also when I look at your picture, do I see cylinders all the same diameter, but with different heights?
Thanks again, I will look at this later, its time to cut the grass :(
No the cylinders are the extruded circles you already have, with radii according to the values of the image sampler. the same radii values are used with multiplication component to set the extrude amount in z direction.
if you want more control over the radii you can remap the values coming out of the image sampler and have a target domain that suits your needs. this also enables the option to have the reverse effect in circle radii, by setting the start of domain larger than the end of domain.
