algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello everyone,

I have constructed a torus which rotates around its midpoint. It worked after a while. :) Now I'm trying for two days to connect the outer corners with lines, to extrude along these rectangles to connect the parts togehter.

I figured out I have no clue how I could solve this problem and seek for advice. Maybe this is a question which is often asked but I do not know what I'm should searching for or I may found the solution but didn't knew.

Many thanks in advance.

I don't want to re-write your whole script for you... some re-org might be necessary to build just one of the four sets of breps, add these curves and then rotate that one set to create four sets...?  On second thought, that won't work.

But basically, you need to avoid 'Flatten' of the 'DeBrep V (Vertices)' output, use 'Flip (Matrix)' (under 'Set | Tree'), then 'IntCrv':

Interesting model, keep up, you'll get it.

Here is a way:

Hi Joseph,

thank you so much for your solution. It seems solving my problems on this stage of modelling completly.
