Other that that:

The bible PlanA: C# In depth (Jon Skeet).
The bible PlanB: C# Step by step (John Sharp).
The bible PlanC: C# 5.0 (J/B Albahari) > my favorite

The reference: C# Language specs  ECMA-334

The candidates:
C# Fundamentals (Nakov/Kolev & Co)
C# Head First (Stellman/Greene)
C# Language (Jones)

BTW: the fact that C# is on build 7 is indifferent. 

BTW: during the learning process use the %$%$ computer properly

Thank you Tom, but I need it for grasshopper not Rhino indeed I am struggling for scripting and cant do it right most of the time , therefore , I decided to learn c# n see how much I can make progress...

Your right ,But mostly recommended to learn C# will help in grasshopper scripting even I ve seen the expert in grasshopper started teaching c # and sounds is preliminary or sth which make it easier to get along with grasshopper .. although someone advice was just practice and practice make it possible...
