Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi

I am attempting to fabricate a lamella structure which I have succeeded in creating in grasshopper. However, I am unable to figure out how to create joinery details at every point that there is an intersection. If anyone has any clue as to how to solve this any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Best,

Matthew

1. NEVER do that (unless you do some small patio for your father in law: YFIL).

2. For YFIL cases use a complete fixing system (best by 1M miles are made in Israel by Palram).

3. NEVER use sandwich stuff like the one posted.

The Rolex of roofs - although a "bit" inferior to Stefano's systems  (see attached PDF):

The king of the hill (custom) planar hybrid systems (my choice in bespoke projects):

BTW: Jansen solution for var dihedrals is 23,45 times inferior to AluStet solution (shown a vertical "hinged" arrangement):

On the other hand if (and I say it again: IF) YFIL was generous to you lately (a Cobra 427 [not a replica] as a birthday gift rather qualifies) this is (as far as I'm allowed to publish something, that is) the notorious "hinged" ALUSTET thingy (one out of many since these bespoke top of the top things are designed "on request" [hit the bank and be prepared]).

Note: shown the ultra glam structural glazing option (go for semi-structural for longevity and piece of mind: structural silicone ... is guaranteed ... er ... hmm ... not for ever - even the GE/US products, he he).
