algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Is it possible to divide a surface evenly with the determining factor being the number of divisions I want?

I have these surfaces, that I would like to divide into X amount of subdivisions that would all share the same area. I am at a loss on how to solve this. I am also trying to do this in a rectangle and hexagonal shape in addition to the triangle shape of the picture.

If you don't care about the shape of the subsurfaces it is at least mathematically possible.

If you want a subdivision pattern like in your drawing, then no. Because that scheme always results in a subdivision count which is a multiple of 3.

The shape of the subsurfaces is not important.
