Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

All,

Following on from a suggestion for improvement of the path mapper, I'm looking to insert branches upstream of a set of existing ones, according to a list of indices. see image and attached definition.

If it were possible to feed my indices list - x - into the path mapper this would be simple.

As it stands I'm looking at (VB) scripting, which is not altogether straightforward. The syntax for adding branches to branches in a tree (or a GH_Structure) is eluding me...

Any thoughts appreciated.

Hi Daniel,

Many thanks for the quick reply. My uploaded picture was a little low res so It's not very clear what I'm after.

this simpler picture might make a little more sense:

thanks,

With that c # should be able to. You have to put the same number of data as paths in both inputs. In this case as you want branches with two paths {10; 0} you have to put a list like 10;0, 10;1, 10;2... to input paths.

I think like this?
