I want to simulate growing process of onion, but i met a problem.

i try to simulate how a new(second) bud grow up in an onion, and original space of onion will be extruded and changed because of the new bud.

actually, new bud grows from a line and turn to a shape which is like concentric circles step by step. but this is my first time to learn gh, so i don't know how to let the new bud extrude the original space.

in my gh file "onion bud", the no. 57 circle is the new(second) bud i assumed, but i dont know how to make the original space change like onion. i mean the original space can detect that new bud is growing.

Hi kaohsuanya, I thought your question was very interesting!, so I tried something in that direction. I got only this far for now (one bud only, and merely a possible direction), but I thought I'd let you know anyway. I thought it looked nice already.
It would be great to get this to work with more buds :)

Thank u so much, because this is my first time to use gh, I cannot understand immediately. And I will study the file you gave to me. Also i try to find out how to grow the second bud, but i think the most difficult part is how original space be extruded>< And I have studied this for a week, but still don't know how. One of my senior suggest me to control all of the points' direction and their vector. Thanks a lot, i will try my best to figure out this:)
