Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

hi all,

i'd like to know how to place a point in Grasshopper to the 3D center, (meaning: x,y,z = 0) of my Rhino 3D scene to work with in Grasshopper as the origin point/object for arays, etc. ?

Thanks for all help :)

it doesen't sit in undefinable space. There's the world coordinates, which is always fixed, and then there's the c-plane, that can be changed by the user. Geometry is always stored in world coordinates, so are grasshopper points.
:))))))

thank you very much :)

got it now.

you know what?

it would be useful if everone could indicate it's own personal experience level with Rhino and GH such as, newbie, pro, or similar.

Cause i still notice often enough how much i don't know about Rhino and Co. .

Also an indicator of views for each thread would be nice here.

wish you good night, and thanks alot.

yes, Vicente is right...its not in undefinable space per se...

In any case, a good understanding of Rhino is imperative to understand Grasshopper in my opinion.
