algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hey guys,
I'm building a definition for a wooden lamp using the Bowerbird Radial by Thomas J. Oberbichler. I'm trying to find a way how to fillet just the inner edges of the slits. Is there a way to do this?
I tried to find the curves for the slits with a list item, but had different curves for the various oriented slices for the range I chose.
Thank you
Khaled

Try this method. I didn't use your file because I don't have the plug in you use. First I explode the curves of the entire piece. Then I isolate only the inner edge of each slit by testing all curves against the distance of that edge (since it is always the same assuming each slit is the same width). The I find each side touching that inner edge by testing end point proximity. Then I join the slits together and fillet.
Thanks Michael Pryor.
