Yes. From version 0.9.0050 onwards they only work on Rhino 5.

(no relase update?)

Do you mean for Grasshopper or Rhino?

You can find the latest version of GH here:

and the latest SR for Rhino here:

http://www.rhino3d.com/download/rhino/5.0/sr

You will need to enter you license key to receive the Rhino V5.0 service release
