Dividing triangles

Hello,

i am new to GH and i am trying to to some concept,but i dont get any further.

I would like to divide a surface ( a triangle, made on three points) in another triangles:

First i want to divide the edges to 2 parts (this would be the point 4 on my pic)

so i get 6 triangles, which should be also seperate surfaces.

then i want to to it with each of this 6 surfaces...and so on.

at least i want to have a list of surfaces because i want to make holes (like in the second pic) in it.

is this possible?

thanks for your Input,looks good.

i found also a solution, but i am wondering if i can simplify this.

the triangle is made of three points.

i gues, if a want to manipulate a lot of triangles it will get unable to handle.
