Diagonal connection pattern

Guys

I'm trying to do the diagonal connection pattern based on point grid. I chose the points and selected them and trying to make a lines between them.
Doesn't work.

I'm trying to follow of thinking my previous exercise (first attached file) but something goes wrong with lines connecting. I think I make mistake somewhere in List connecting.

Can you take a look please and try to explain? :)

Hi Kuba,

This is a data matching issue. You need to "create" a four lists consisting of 4 points of the squares. Then match these four lists with "Line" component.
There is a good explanation on this in Zubin Khabazi book.

No, it's just you are using newer version of grasshopper than I am.
Did you open the the file I attached? I think that is what are you looking for.

yes yes. I'll analyze them later. Thank You. I'm asking about my files because trying to find out one quite good methodo of making this kind of patterns. When I get the different way of thinkig its take longer to understand. :) Thanks !

may be one of You guys can take a look at files I've attached on the beginning of post? I'm wondering the way I think was right too... I think, I did some error only on the end of excercise but not sure yet.
