Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I'm looking for a way to load user objects from a different folder than the standard folder (AppData\Roaming\Grasshopper\UserObjects), so I can easily share user objects via Dropbox.

The methods described in this topic work for Libraries, but don't seem to work for user objects.

Is there a way to do this?

Maybe you could use a more system level approach where you use some external tool to sync files in your dropbox folder with your UserObjects folder?

Hi Brian,

Thanks for the suggestion. That would work I think,

but isn't so convenient if I have to set it up for multiple

computers. It would be great if user objects could be treathed

the same as libraries.

yes, I believe this would be very useful. simple way to keep all objects up to date and synced in the cloud.

I added a wish for GH2 here:
