Curtain Wall Current Structure

Hello everybody,

I have to make a curtain wall system on a generic surface and I don't know how to create the sub-structure...

I tried to divide the base surface by Isocurve but I don't know how to fit a rectangle oriented normal to the surface on the middle of each V-IsoCurve...

Anyway I found another way to do that:

1-create and edge surface from the base V-Isocurves and and offset on Surface of that Curves

2- Offset the edged surface

3- make the final edge surface whit the 4 edge curves of the previous surface

This way is not the best because makes lots of breps and weighs the model...

how can I do this in another way?
