algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hey guys, this is my first time posting here.
What I'm trying to do, is create a parametric bed. It's supposed to have kind of a hammock look.
What I need help with:
I can't figure out how to create more curves from points. I'm trying to connect the spheres together, either with Pipes like I already have, or Cylinders which would connect to the same number slider as the pipes, so they're always together.
1. How can I create curves from points? Can I create curves from points, and then put points on those curves, and create more curves and keep repeating?
2. How can I just have it go towards the center point? What I mean is, I want the cylinders or pipes to go from one end to the other, but I don't want any horizontal hangover.
3. Say I want to create some kind of a support beam (likely by creating more curves from the points), how can I make the curves all stop at a certain location?
I hope my questions aren't too confusing.

Whoops, I just checked my script and I noticed a Graft tossed in there. It's not part of the definition. That was me trying to figure out what to do.
1) You can create curves from points using either the Interpolate Curve component or the Curve component.
2) This question is not at all clear. Maybe you could draw something in Rhino to illustrate.
3) Again this is not clear. The obvious answer would be that the 'beam' will stop at the end of the curve but you might be asking something else.
Okay, I tried using interpolate Curve before and I seemed to be on the right track. Maybe I'll check that out more. I've attached a concept image of what I'm trying to make. You can see the horizontal pipes going across. That's what I'm trying to create. As for the front and back "bendy" support structure, I'm not exactly sure what I want those to be yet. I am trying to make something which goes there.
So this is where I'm at now. I added an Evaluate Length and Interpolate Curve button. I'm able to get the one pipe going across, but I need to have a pipe going horizontally through each sphere.
Yes, exactly like that. I think I tried a Flip Matrix at one point, but I must have plugged something incorrectly. Thank you so much.
