algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Ehi Guys, I would like to compare parallel curves, imagine a sort of planimetry: IF distance between curves is MINOR/EQUAL to 10cm, THEN remove them and keep exterior walls (40cm). Hope that someone could help me!!

Hi,

i've mad you an algorithm that removes all curves that are less then a value + tolerance. So you can test your theory.

I don't think with floor plans this will work as good, due to the high amount of possible diversity of curve combinations...You have to write a really intelligent algorithm in order to get this running fully automated and i think this is a PhD work on his own. Hope my small script gives you some idea how complicated it can get.

Sure i'd have to compare the tangents as well in my script but that might not clean the solution further...I've seen you had a quite similar post with not really exciting answers :-( what is this going to be? Student Project? Experiment? Software Development?

Buona fortuna con questa impresa. Fammi sapere se sei riuscito a trovare una soluzione.

Thanks a lot Florian!! Yes, it's a student project. Isn't simple to do it ...
