Color question

Hi all,

Is there any way to set GH to display certain faces of a Brep in different colors? I am using GH to preview some router cuts and it would be helpful if I could see the areas that have been cut in a different color.

Hi Declan,

there's no way at present. I wrote a small script that creates a mesh with differently coloured parts for all the faces in a brep. I converted it to a UserObject. To install, just drag the ghuser file into Grasshopper or into the Grasshopper UserObject folder. It should appear in the Surface Analysis panel.

Is there anyway to have this apply to the GH preview mesh? and/or is there any way to set the preview to be non-ghosted? Even if we could dial down the alpha layer, that would be great.
