Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hey ,  Is it possible to connect two stand-alone PCs (clustering) , for higher processing and more ram space through ghowl?

Hmmm, gHowl was not necessarily written for this, and although you could split out some tasks to different machines, I am not sure if anyone has tried or come up with a decent workflow.  The short answer is no.  The long answer is maybe, why don't you give it a try?

Well i don't know much about clustering myself...was working on a definition on Vb, and it required large amount of iterations to process....and rhino seems to crash whenever i opt to go for high number of iterations...as it runs out of ram...since my desktop n laptop both have 6gb ram each...i thought it might work if i connected them...(Do you know other ways besides grasshopper to cluster two pcs?)

Is it possible to save the lists of array from vb at a certain iteration number to a file ...and then import that file as iteration number 1 in another definition for further iterations ?
