algorithmic modeling for Rhino
I'm probably missing something very obvious. I'm trying to trim some resulting squares from the base surface they were generated from, to create some panels, but the trim doesn't recognize the surface, and region difference doesn't return anything.

:( I know it must be simple, but I can't do it
Hi Ignacio,
It is indeed very obvious. The problem is just the scale. Since your surface is not as big, the trims are too small. Some of them are smaller than the absolute tolerance of Rhino. So to get this to work you have to get sure of the measurements of all your objects. I made you an example:
Take care...the Boolean Intersection takes really long to calculate, because you have several hundred trims. Mine took about 4 min. So disable the Component if you need to work on something. If not it will freeze for some minutes on each change of the parameters/sliders.
Best,
FF
