Can I transform a spherical mesh into triangulated faces?

I'm trying to figure out how I can take a spherical or otherwise-shaped 3D mesh and convert it into a series of Delaunay triangles. Specifically, I'd like to be able to set a maximum side length for the triangles.

Alternatively, I also wanted to try this exercise with triangles of the same size, and not Delaunay triangles.

I'm relatively new to Grasshopper, but I managed to find the triangulate component, which triangulates a mesh. Unfortunately, it seems that there is no way to adjust the triangulation parameters - this component only takes a mesh geometry as an input. How can I output the edges of the triangles, so I can later work with that geometry?

If someone could point me in the right direction concerning which components I need to use, that would be very helpful. Otherwise, any help would be greatly appreciated :) thank you!
