Add Clipper Python Library

I would like to use the pyClipper library via Python scripting (either directly from Rhino, or via the Grasshopper Python component), but I don't know how to set this up, i.e. what to download and how to access it from Rhino/gh. Can anybody help me setting this up?

ps: I am aware of the existence of the Grasshoppper Clipper components by arendvw, but I would like to use Clipper directly from script.
