algorithmic modeling for Rhino

In Grasshopper, one of the possible inputs is an orientation vector.
In Rhino, you can nominate a 90 degrees rotation angle and then drag and drop onto the curve/layer as per the attached image.
I do have on my to do list to improve BIM in Rhino using IFC, but it's been difficult to prioritize over grasshopper functionality.
Let me know if this helps or not.
Cheers,
Jon
Hello Jon,
Thanks for your so fast reply but it still doesnt work.
When i drag and drop into the layer it simply doesnt do nothing and when i drag and drop into the drawing screen and then i select the curve i want to extrud the turned section it ereases the previous 3d and nohing else happens (once crashed rhino). If i try to change the lines layer section to another one, the selected curve doesnt get any section exrusion... :(
Well, i dont know if i explained well...
Btw, congratulations for such an amazing and well developed plugin!
Cheers,
Dani
make (EXTRUDECURVEALONGCURVE or SIMPLE EXTRUDE) a straight beam with same length like your curve and a standing cross section...TWIST 90 degree (or arbitrary) the beam between the two endpoints...FLOWALONGCURVE your twisted beam to the original curve...voala!...tibor
