Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Dear Community

I used kangaroo for formfinding the basic geometry for a design.

Now I want to develop a diamand shaped gridstructure and panalize the surface.

In order to do so I converted the surface from meshes to a polysurface trough T-spline.

Afterwords I subdived the individual surfaces and created a curve trough the diagonal points in two directons.

The problems is that the grid is irragular. This is because the surfaces are different.

Is there a way to achieve a regular diamond grid?

I attached the grasshopper definition and the rhino file.

Something like this.

Thanks in advance

How is this regular?

well there goes my reference.

Thank you for pointing that out.

I'll take a closer look later, but perhaps the diagonalize component I describe here could be useful
