Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi guys, I have a trouble about the exporting the script of GH file.

I want to see and export the result of all computing process, because I have to show what I did in GH to people without GH.

So, if you know how to export the script as a text file, could you tell me how to do it, please.

I'm so sorry for my lack of the skill of GH.

You can save the GH Definition as a GHX. That's a readable XML text version. But that's probably not going to help very much.

If you want to present the results of the definition, bake the final components.

There is no consistent way to transfer the definition to any other script language or text. What you see on the canvas in a way IS the script code. You can save screenshots or export a high res Image of the complete definition.

Thank you so so much, I appreciate your help.

I've got the xml file by your way, however, I cannot read this...

I have to show the procedure rather than the final object.

Do you think it's enough to trace the procedure, what I did?

That depends on what format you want this 'procedure' to have. You can bake each component in turn to show how the geometry changes during your algorithm. Or you can use Text-Panels to export the data to text-files. Or you can post a screenshot of the Grasshopper network and maybe put additional explanations on important components.
