Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Dear Grasshoppers,

I am quite new with grasshopper and I would like to learn very well this powerful design resource. I was wondering if anybody could help me with an advise.
Do you(community) know if it is possible to get a master degree? In one of the Universities that offer this sort of specialization?
Any information or advise that you(community) can send me are welcome. I would appreciate your help.
Thanks in advance.

Kind regards.

If you want to specialise in computational design you need to be realistic and assess yourself against your peers as ultimately it's a job that's going to pay you, not a piece of paper with 'Masters' written on it that'll cost you a small fortune.

Generally, geometry, mathematics and programming skills in Java, C, python or similar are the minimum requisites. Having a masters purely in grasshopper alone is going to be quite worthless in the grand scheme of things- specialist modelling outfits will employ the guy who can do all of the above/ architectural or engineering practices will employ the guy who has the relevant qualification AND the grasshopper skills (if that's what they're looking for).

Parametric design is increasingly becoming a staple of modern design techniques in the AEC industries, but don't put all your eggs in one basket.

Concur. Focus on programming, mathematics and/or computing in relation to architectural design.
