Unsupported operand type in GH python

Hi,

I'm getting an error related to the operand type in this simple python script. The script works fine when feeded with a list created inside the python script, but fails to get the values from an input in the script component.

The access is set to list and the type hint to float, and I've tried almost every combination. I would like to know if any of you have had the same error or can spot the bug?

There has been some discussion recently about bugs in the rhinoscript library, but this one seems to be something else, since this script is only using native python functions.
