Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi guys,

I basically want to shift and wrap branches as if they were items. I have dispatched items in a tree that I now want to combine again, but in a different way. I want to connect items in {A;B} with items in {A;B+1}. As you can see in the picture, that way every item would find a partner.

Now, if I just shifted the branches I would lose my empty items and confuse the initial order, especially if the first branch was empty. So I think I need to shift and wrap the branch numbers. Or is there another, simple option?

I could probably do it in VB or Pythong but I've never worked with branches there before. Shame on me.

Thanks for the help

Hi Oliver,

Until David arrives, you could try this modest one.
It works only works for your {0;i} tree level, though.

OT: big fan of a Pavilion 2011.

Hi djordje,

thanks that should do the trick for now. Stay tuned, there's another wood project coming up soon!
