Newbie Question: How can I export current parameters along with my baked primitives?

I've got a graph I've written and I'd like to export the baked primitives along with some "notes" that report which parameter values were used to generate the object.

Is there an easy way to do this?

Looks like GH 2.0 might have that ability. For now you can add text tags to the Rhino File or create a separate parameter/info file by writing the components content to a stream (see context menu of component)

Export where?

To elaborate, you can customize the baking via a script and harvest slider values before you bake, then store those slider values as UserStrings on Rhino objects. But it's a fair amount of work.

Try using TT ToolBox's export to excel component. You can export slider values, and then import them too with another component. You would have to combine the toggle export (it works with a toggle) with a new toggle back geometry. Fortunately, Human tools has a back geometry component that works with a toggle.

Note: All this is speculation, I haven't tested it :D
