Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hey Guys,

I try to join 2 Singlesurface or better create one Singlesurface from two.

I have try that with the patch function from Grasshopper but a get bad results.

I hope anybody can help me.

In the notes are the 3dm and gh data.

Have nobody an idea?

I don't see why your are doing what you are doing. Or have I miss understood the question.

I would loft the vertical section between the original curve and the one above it. Then I would loft the 3 curves that make the "hood" and then I would Join these two together and get one Polysurface. I don't think that there is a way to create this shape as a single entity because of the "Knuckle" between the upright and the hood

This is only a simple example what my problem is simplified.

I thought maybe that there's a way to create a Single Surface with the patch component.
