flatten branches not tree

hi guys, i have a simple question. i just want to select the odd numbers of odd rows.

now i can select the odd rows,i want to flatten each row(branch) to select the odd numbers, how can i do it?

ShiftPath by default will flatten the last branching level of the tree.
