Mesh with colors to Illustrator

I don't think it's possible. If Illustrator supports scripting, you could probably write a script in Rhino which writes a custom file and another script in Illustrator which imports that file, but I have no idea if and how that would work in practice.

If you can export your mesh to a CAD format which preserves the color, you could import that CAD file into illustrator...
