Panels different offset directions

Hi there

I'm having a major problem with an offset going in different directions (so far the offsets are randomly in and out)

I would like to create an offset normal to the surface of hundreds of panels, all in the same direction of course,

Here's a screenshot of my script

 

If someone could help me, much appreciated !

How were your surfaces created?  This dictate Normal direction. You might want to test for that and flip the surfaces and/or normals so that they all face the same direction.

I created the envelop by a loft of curves and then split the surface with a grid projected onto the surface, pretty simple...

So you think I should go through all my panels one by one and flip them once for all? I guess I won't take that much time

Hi Elboboon,

just offset both directions and choose the one direction you need.
