Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi everyone.

I'm trying to use Weaverbird Mesh Edges command to extract edges from a planar mesh I created to apply wind force in Kangaroo. I keep on receiving the same error message: 'Two consecutive edges have the same value... Try to use Weaverbird's Clean Up Mesh first'.

The mesh is quite an irrugular shape. How can I 'clean it up'? I tryied to rebuilt it in Rhino but it still not working.... Thanks.

Hi Fabio, this means that the mesh has some collapsed edges. Imagine turning on grip points and pulling points one on top of the other. You can use Rhino 5 "Repair mesh wizard", Rhino 4 _Weld command with then _RebuildMesh, or try using the "Mesh Weldvertices" component with some tolerance in [uto]'s MeshEdit from within Grasshopper.

Grazie Giulio. It's now working.

Tnks!

Thanks !!

grazie!
