Hi Patric,

There was a component somewhere on forum (do the search) which enables you to change the color of canvas background, grid color, grid size, etc.

The other solution would be to open the "grasshopper_gui.xml" file from "File-> Special Folders-> Settings Folder". You can open it with a Notepad for example. Search for the:

canvas_backcolor

canvas_gridcolor

And change the ARGB values according to your needs. Save the "grasshopper_gui.xml" and restart Rhino and Grasshopper.

hi djordje,

thanks for the help. it works by changing the ARGB values in the grasshopper_gui.xml file. could you have a look to your file and give me the preset values for the background and the gridcolour?

I'm using the changed values for background and grid colour too.
But I think these are default colours:

canvas background: 212,208,199

grid color: 186,182,173

Use 255 as Alpha value for both colours.

perfect! thank you!
