Plankton 0.2.0

Get the latest version of the Plankton halfedge mesh project here.

First off, this is another work-in-progress release, so please don't hate us if things break! Since I've been involved in the project it's undergone a bit of a re-structuring and we felt it would be good to get some community feedback. There is also a lot of new behind-the-scenes functionality to make it easier to create halfedge meshes in Grasshopper. You can now add a face to a mesh by simply supplying a list of the vertex indices by which it is defined – halfedge creation and linking is all taken care of internally! This makes it much easier to integrate Plankton with other ngonal mesh projects, such as Turtle. A wide range of adjacency queries are also available without having to deal with the underlying halfedge data structure, so get scripting! See here for some examples.

As always we're extremely interested to hear any exciting ways in which this halfedge implementation might be used. Given that the underlying data structure was has pretty much been in place since the first release it's these use-cases which will drive future development!

And, one last thing, all the source code is available on GitHub.

Thanks Will & Daniel for this! Is there any chance you can update the example definition on GitHub? I've managed to fix a few scripts, but lack some insight to do them all.

Should be fixed now! Thanks for trying it out. Hopefully we'll have some pretty documentation with the next release.
