algorithmic modeling for Rhino
I am using GH 0.9.0056
When I switch the "preview point flavor" from 'cross' to 'point' or 'dot' the points shift.
The points shown here SHOULD coincide with the centers of each of those spheres. but they are displayed in the wrong location.
Here is what it looks like with point flavor set to "cross"

whoaho that fixed it! What is the function of the "zbuffer"? the tooltip says "when checked, points and curves will be drawn slightly closer than they actually are"
So... which version is more accurate - checked, or unchecked? and why would you ever want to use the less accurate version? - like, why do we have an option? is there some kind of performance trade-off?
oh... I see now - it shifts the preview geometry so that your preview is not exactly coincident with rhino geometry, and you can tell when you have selected something.
Precisely. If I were to draw my geometry exactly where it is then it may intersect with Rhino geometry and it's anybody's guess what gets drawn on top.
I'm hoping to make some improvements to the preview logic for GH2 running under Rhino6. Not in the least because Rhino6 should have a more advanced and modern graphics pipeline.
