Intersect and Dispatch Circles / Grid Cells

Hi Guys,

I intersected a rectangular grid with a series of circles, I would like to dispatch the grid cells which intersect with the Circles but can't find the right way to do it.

Would anyone know how to solve this?

Wait, what's that multi-path mapper? Is that operational in 0.7.0047?

Edit: Now that I'm looking, I guess it's been possible for a long time to have multiple mappings. You learn something new every day...

Yup, that has always been possible. The PathMapper simply matches each path against every mapping, and the first one that 'fits' is used.

I'm actually not quite certain why a tree with such different mappings was created in the first place, but at least it can be fixed this way.

Hi David,

Looking at your first post and the scribble saying "Flatten" would it be possible to add something similar to the asterisk when an expression is used to indicate that the imput is flatten?

Either underscore "_" or minus "-" for Flatten and less than "<" for Graft
or in a vertical theme Line for "|" flatten and either Caret "^" or "v" for Graft

"^" and "v" kind of look like the new arrow icon toggles for graft and flatten (respectively)... is there no inverted Carret symbol anywhere?

There are some fonts with up and down arrow characters:

Wingdings 3
Syastro

Hi Taz,

I can't really mix different fonts in a single piece of text, so using the Arrow chars is the best option. This is what it looks like with the default Grasshopper GUI font:

It's actually not all that readable at 100% zoom...

Could the input character be set to a bold font to indicate flattening?

Difficult. There's no guarantee that the Font used in the GUI is the same everywhere and some fonts do not readily support bold or italic styles. And if they do it might look awful.

Another request, would it be possible for a component with its preview off to change slightly as the enable/disable toggle does?
